"The strongest argument for lead management in the workplace is that because it is both more productive and leads to higher-quality work, it saves money."

William Glasser   Choice Theory 1998

Lead Management employs Choice Theory as the underpinning for improving work and personal relationships. Together managers and co-workers create an environment where they put each other, the work, the clients into their quality worlds. They constantly evaluate how their jobs may be better performed, increasing their control over their work. The Lead Manager knows that quality depends on trust which cannot be achieved through 'bossing'.

Lead Management is the direct opposite of 'Boss Management' where workers are in a coercive environment, often being 'encouraged' by the carrot and stick mentality and bullying of external control psychology.
